Take a few minutes to check out this great video by MKS to see just how much punishment these servos can handle…

MKS Servos Have Arrived!
RC Tech Supplies is proud to now offer servos from MKS Mark Star Servo Tech. Most of our first shipment of servos is aimed towards heli and glider pilots, but more are still on their way. As the rest arrive, they’ll be made available on-line right here at RC Tech Supplies.
If you would expect it to be hot and sunny on Australia’s Sunshine Coast for the first weekend of summer in the land down under you would generally be right. But this year during the Byron Fuels Nitro Blast at the Mooloolah Valley R/C Club turned out to be anything but sunny and hot. Rain poured down intermittently throughout the weekend and drivers braved the elements to get some laps in on the awesome new layout. The event was scheduled for 6 rounds of qualifying and hour long mains on Sunday but the weather had other plans. One round of qualifying was completed on Friday afternoon and while the track was muddy most of the drivers attempted a run on the track and tried to stay in the line to keep their cars from sinking in the mud! Come Saturday it was more of the same with the rain coming down. The track crew did an amazing job getting the track ready to run on again and again, but every time it was time to get another qualifier in the rain would come down once more. On Saturday two more qualifiers were completed even with a little bit of standing water on the track. By the first lap of each race every car on the track had the same paint scheme, Brown! By mid afternoon Saturday, as the rain continued to poor down it was decided that qualifying would be halted at 3 rounds with 2 being counted towards qualifying. Top Ten Buggy Top Ten Truggy
Come Sunday we arrived at the track to see it underwater again, but some morning sunlight gave a glimmer of hope to getting the mains in. But keeping with the theme of the weekend with about 10 minutes until the mains were set to begin another storm cell passed over and the event was called. Those who braved the elements the most in qualifying and were able to work their way through the mud and keep their equipment running through the water came out victorious on this race weekend. All in all the racers and track organisers endured more bad weather than most would ever try to race through. To everyone who came to race and those who persevered the most on this weekend congratulations and we look forward to putting on a dry, sunny race weekend for the Byron Fuels Nitro Blast in 2011!
